The Mount Assiniboine Lodge is closed for renovations during Winter 2012.
Talus Lodge would like to extend our invitation to those guests seeking adventure in the Mount Assiniboine area while Assiniboine Lodge is closed for renovations during Winter 2012.
Both lodges share many of the general Canadian Rocky Mountains characteristics on the British Columbia side of the British Columbia /Alberta, Continental Divide. Talus Lodge is located at 2300 m of elevation while Assiniboine Lodge is at 2200 m. Talus Lodge is 21 km SE of Mount Assiniboine and Assiniboine Lodge, as the crow flies. Both lodges offer the same helicopter departures from Mount Shark for their guests. Mount Shark is located at an equal distance from Talus Lodge and Assiniboine Lodge. Talus Lodge also offers guest transport from Canmore.
Talus Lodge would be pleased to accommodate those guests who are searching for accommodations in the Mt. Assiniboine and Canadian Rocky Mountains area. Talus Lodge offers the comforts of modern new buildings and facilities and a superb setting with views of the SE side Mount Assiniboine from the Talus Lodge area. In addition “The Talon”, an imposing horn in the Talus Lodge area will be your beacon and source of inspiration.
While you are at Talus Lodge, you can enjoy breathtaking views of The Royal Group, Burstall Pass area, Spray Pass and Leman lake just to name a few. Talus Lodge offers a truly remarkable wilderness and scenic site in the Rockies of British Columbia for you to experience.
