Lodge
Talus Lodge is a private, chalet style, two story building providing alpine backcountry accommodation. The first floor is made up of four bedrooms and an equipment/drying room. The second floor contains the kitchen, living and dining areas, as well as a bedroom. Wood stoves provide heating for the buildings and propane is used for cooking. A utilities building adjacent to the lodge contains washroom, sauna and shower facilities. Up to 12 guests are comfortably accommodated inside, where the lodge is bright and comfortably finished with upholstered chairs and couches.
Large upper and lower decks facing southwest add to the outdoor comfort of Talus Lodge and fantastic views of the remote, alpine backcountry of the Canadian Rockies are offered from every room.
Talus Lodge is a perfect place, in both Summer and Winter, to relax, dine and enjoy after a day of hiking, skiing or snowshoeing the mountains.
For those seeking the ultimate in privacy and ideal setting, there is the option to book the now completed private cabin, located away from the lodge.
