AN INVITATION TO ADVENTURE

THE SKI SEASON

February 3 to April 4, 2022

Talus provides ACMG led guided winter ski program suitable for alpine touring, telemarking, light touring and split boarders who have mastered the flats and transitions. We promise, the skiing is either going to be fun or funny! Mother nature is the boss of winter. We can’t predict snow conditions but we can guarantee a good time. That being said, our historical average is about two meters of snow and when we ski at Talus, we can’t get the smile off our faces. We will have two guides with every group to ensure our beginner who want to cruise the meadows and our powder hounds have their best days, everyday.

We don’t want to be humble braggers about skiing at Talus. If you want the goods and live in Canmore, ask your neighbor. Or come out for a little ground-truthing yourself.

We require guests to bring their own ski equipment including climbing skins, digital avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel. Splitboarders who are proficient at transitioning and flats are welcome.

Ski access

We offer guided ski touring to and from Talus via Burstall Pass for strong backcountry skiers in 2020. For safety reasons, we do not allow guest ski access without a Talus guide. Ask us about our guiding rates.
