Talus is a catered and guided wilderness backcountry lodge for hiking. Folks of all levels are welcome. Helicopter access is required. I understand I, and everyone in my group, will have to sign a waiver.
Talus has heated facilities cabin with outhouses, watering can showers and a sauna. Talus is a place to re-connect and there is no access to WIFI.
Sounds great! I, and the folks coming with me, love this sort of thing.

The summer season is JUNE 27, 2019-SEPTEMBER 30, 2019. Arrival and departure days are Monday and Thursday.

Rooming options are:
4 private rooms: two single beds. Beds can be twin or king mode. Double occupancy required.
1 private room: two single beds and a twin bunk. Beds can be twin or king mode. Double occupancy required and can sleep three people.
The Raven’s Nest: three single beds. Accessed by a ladder and for nimble climbers only. Individual to triple occupancy.
How many people are you booking for and who sleeps with who?
Just me. I am ok sleeping in the Raven's nest and getting to know my two other bunk mates.
Two of us in a private room. Two twins beds please.
Two of us in a private room. We like to snuggle. Make the bed up in king mode.
Three or more amigos/ amigas. Let's talk about bed configuration in the comment field below.
We recommend arriving in Canmore the night before your Talus departure. Do not book commercial flights on your departure day from Talus. Consider staying at the Paintbox Lodge, our sister property in downtown Canmore. Talus Lodge guests receive 10% off and we will waive the two night minimum.
