Talus Time in the Winter

February 7, 2019- March 18, 2019

We promise, the skiing is either going to be fun or funny! The snowshoeing is always world class. Mother nature is the boss of winter. We can’t predict snow conditions but we can guarantee a good time. That being said, our historical average is about two meters of snow and when we ski and snowshoe at Talus, we can’t get the smile off our faces. We will have two guides with every group to ensure our beginner and our powder hounds have their best days, everyday.

We don’t want to be humble braggers. If you want the goods on the winter experience at Talus and live in Canmore, ask your neighbor. Or come out for a little ground-truthing yourself.

Talus provides an ACMG guided winter ski program suitable for alpine ski touring, telemarking and light touring. Splitboarders who are proficient at transitioning and flats are welcome. We have specific dates for guided snowshoeing. Guests are required to bring their own ski and snowshoe equipement. Skiers must bring climbing skins. Guests are required to bring their own or rent digital avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel.
